Dinner For Two - Shrimp Scampi

Dinner: For our Women's month treat - here's another easy to cook dish for you to impress her with.

Hey Gents!! We know it's not Valentine's Day yet... but it is Women's Month! As promised here is your second recipe for the month - Add it to your stash! And spoil that special lady.

Surprise her! Stay at home and cook some delicious dinner recipes together (meaning she keeps you company while YOU do it😉).

Step 1 - Ditch the work pants
Step 2 - Grab a sexy (but manly) apron
Step 3 - Dim the lights (preferably after cooking - you need your 👀 for this)
Step 4 - Candles and slow jams!
Step 5 - Tell her you sautéd the garlic - #FrenchAccent!
Step 6 - Thank us later

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3 to 4 garlic cloves, minced
  2. ¼ cup butter, cubed
  3. ¼ cup olive oil
  4. 500g uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and de-veined
  5. ¼ cup lemon juice
  6. ½ tsp pepper
  7. ¼ tsp dried oregano

DIRECTIONS

  • Using a large, ovenproof skillet, sauté garlic, butter in oil until tender.
  • Next, stir in your shrimp, lemon juice, pepper and oregano.
  • Cook for about 2 - 3 minutes until the shrimp turns pink.
  • Once the shrimp is ready, sprinkle with some parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs and a little parsley.
  • Place in the oven and cook for another 2-3 minutes until topping is golden brown.
  • Serve over your choice of pasta and enjoy.
